Project Wedding Ang Pau Box

I was a bit uncertain if I could make it when my friend requested me to make an Ang Pau Box for his wedding as he couldn't find a big box for his wedding. He gave me total control for the design of the box. I spent about 3 months to source for designs and materials.

 

The concept of this box is a 3 tier wedding cake, using 3 of different sized boxes with the bride and groom's favourite care bears and a touch of east meets west elements to the box.

 

Initially, I felt uncretain and get stucked halfway making the box. Day by day, bit by bit, I tried and error making the decoration of the box, try to make the box looks like a cake.

 

After 3 months of making the box, it finally gets in shape. I felt so relieved and happy. I couldn't believed that I could complete it before my friend's wedding.

Project Felt Tissue Box Cover

It's a few months to Christmas. I have been handmaking X-Mas gifts for my colleagues every year. I have always wanted to make something useful. I have made felt memo holder, felt organizer, so this year, I thought of making a tissue box cover.

Next, it's the designs. I have to choose nice and not so complicated to make designs, cos I have to duplicate for 4 sides. After completed the first cover, I realised how time consuming to make one. I have to make 9 of them in total!!

Wow! It's a huge project! Luckily the materials are inexpensive. I can simply get different colour felt from Daiso!

Around the World, Tea Party & Cake Feast Birthday Card

 It is the most complicated feelings when making these cards.

Cos this is the day of releasing of the exam results. I tried very hard not to view my results until I completed the cards, to avoid my mood when making these cards.

Finally, I've completed the cards and keep them away and view my exam. My heart pumped rapidly when I opened my e-mail. I was relieved when I saw a 'Passed' in my result.

 

Hello Kitty 3D Popped-Up Birthday Card

 

 It's August!

The birthday gal loves Hello Kitty. It's pretty easy. I made Hello Kitty Birthdat card for her almost every year. I bought a strawberries patterned scrapbooking paper for the background of the card.
I made the in a way that looks like Hello Kitty Wonderland, with Hello Kitty Ferries Wheel and Too-Too train.

Nickhun Birthday Card

This July birthday gal loves a lots of things, Red colour, Guitar, Music and Nickhun from 2PM. She even pasted some photos of Nickhun at her workstation.

So I added all the elements into a card. This is quite a different style from the theme. I gathered some handsome and cute photos of Nickhun into this card, so that she can dream of hime every night.

One Pieace Birthday Card

It's June, and the beginning of June is always a busy period for me. I have to attend the exam and have to make birthday card. The birthday gal's birthday falls on 10th June. That means I have to start making the card as soon as I finishes my exam.

I'm glad that I compleated the birthday card on time for her birthday celebration.

She loves One Piece animation. I searched the web for the best picture that consists all the characters in one. I have made a popped-up effect for the onc piece picture.

February Birthday Cards

 

It's time to make birthday card again for a fresh year of 2013. This year's Birthday card theme is 3D. Recently, lot of bookstores starts selling 3D popped-up cards and they are all costly. So, I start thinking of making a similar 3D popped-up. 100% handmade with no duplication is much more special and meaningful to the receipient. So, I start trying out makimng one, and I am happy that it turned out great!

 

It is easy to decide what theme to make for Kym's birthday card, as she loves Runningman as much as me, so I source for inspiration from everyone's best friend - Google.

Instead of getting photos of Runningman members, I found cartoon version created by the fans are more cute!

Not only the cover of the card, I tried to do popped-up effects inside the card, and it turned out well too!

As for Sheryl's card, She doesn't have any preference, I did a traditional birthday cakes card, with the same 3D popped-up effect.
